ONE-SHOT-SESSION
Der Jazz-Blues-Club Theaterstübchen ist eine Oase für alle Musikliebhaber und Künstler. Wir gingen durch den unscheinbaren Eingang, stiegen eine Treppe in den Keller hinunter und standen zum Schluss vor roten Vorhängen, die uns neugierig machen. Als wir in das Theaterstübchen gingen, fiel uns sofort die originelle Einrichtung ins Auge, die die Vorzüge eines Clubs und einer Lounge vereinte.
An der Theke saß Alex Cuba und trank genüsslich seinen Kaffee, während seine Band einen Soundcheck für ihren Aufritt am Abend machten.
Dann war es soweit, wir schalteten die Kamera an und Alex performte seinen ersten Song. Natürlich wussten wir im Vorfeld, dass er gut sein wird, aber ihn live zu erleben war einfach einmalig. Er hat uns mit seiner Musik sofort in seinen Bann gezogen. Dieser Künstler liebt nicht nur die Musik, sondern verkörpert sie mit seiner Mimik, seinem Herz und seiner Stimme. Das war eine grandiose Session mit dem Singer/Songwriter Alex Cuba, dessen Markenzeichen schöne Melodien mit Einflüssen aus Latin, Jazz, Pop, Soul und Rock sind.
Nach unserer Session gab es für Alex Cuba und Band kaum eine Verschnaufpause, denn ihr Auftritt stand vor der Tür. Alex Cuba und Band betraten die Bühne und spielten den ersten Song. Sie zogen das Publikum sofort in ihren Bann. Alex Cuba interagierte mit den Zuhörern. Er bewies an diesem Abend, dass er nicht nur ein großartiger Sänger, sondern auch Entertainer ist.
Es war ein sehr gelungener Auftritt. Seinem Erfolg in Europa steht nichts mehr im Wege, in Deutschland hat er jedenfalls schon überzeugt.

The Jazz and Blues Club Theaterstübchen is a great place for musicians and everyone who is into music. We passed the unconspicuous entry, climbed down stairs that were leading into the basement, and were then standing in front of red curtains that made us curious of what was behind them. When we first got into the Theaterstübchen, we noticed the unique decoration of the room, which makes it look like something between a club and a lounge.
Alex Cuba was sitting on the bar and was enjoying his coffee while his band was going through the sound check for the show at night.
Then we turned on our camera and Alex Cuba performed his first song. Of course we knew that he is a great musician, but it was extraordinary to hear and see him play live and acoustic. He immediately touched us with his music. This musician not only loves music, but also lives it with his heart and soul. We really had a great session with the singer/songwriter Alex Cuba, who presents sweet melodies and a mix of Latin, Jazz, Pop, Soul, and powerful Rock tunes.
Alex Cuba and band only had a very short time to relax after our session as their show was starting right afterwards. They got on stage and played their first song. Alex Cuba immediately had the audience’s attention and interacted with them during the entire show. He proved that he not only is a great singer, but also an entertainer.
They had a successful show that night and we are sure that Alex Cuba will have great success in Europe – at least he has already convinced Germany.
